A buck a track for remixes and old songs? That was something entirely absent in every other title, the closest being MHGU's village theme choices and a few other songs in G-rank, which was also a fantastic thing (but did not cover the size nor scope of the Rise music packs). IMO the only actually really good paid additions that I do not want to stop are the music packs. At least they gave us standard layered armor super quick rather than a long time after.

In my hundreds of hours, I can't remember spending more than 10 minutes in there and never thought about it at all.
When I think back to Iceborne, I remember them creating the entire customizable rooms to sell more stuff to players and i always wondered who the fuck was buying any of that stuff. The weekly quest challenges to get gold tickets was a smart move I hope to see return, as it usually had you battle stuff you rarely do, which is exciting and fun.Īs for the topic of the OP, I agree. It sucks to hunt the same dozen stuff all the time. Instead of making more variants on relevant/hard monsters, why aren't there more things like Apex azuros.

Guiding lands and weapon part mods/upgrades where a good idea on paper, as the series has struggled alot with making half the monster roster relevant when they get to G tank and all it's parts useless, but it ended up being the same case when only certain mods where ever worth it, and then they invalidate all that grinding with new monster additions and relics. I'm praying sunbreak has a well developed endgame.
